Realising a Dream
By Joe Gresham

I have always been a proud son of the South.  Even in my less informed youthful days, I was extremely "chauvinistic" about Dixie.  I, as many Southrons, was raised to be proud of our customs, traditions, heritage and history.  Just like the words to the Don Williams song "When I was a kid, Uncle Remus would put me to bed, with a picture of Stonewall Jackson above my head."  Though those particular examples were not exactly like my life, I was raised with that same deeply held reverence for the South.  It wasn't hatred or a longing for owning slaves that created or fed that deeply ingrained love of all things Southern. It was "Dixie" itself, it was values and heroes.

It was a Christian way of life that had been cherished and retained by my parents and theirs.  Retained even if only in their hearts and memories, but they passed it on to me.  They passed on more than just a love for Dixie, but a dream as well.  One that has been dreamt, by millions of Southrons over the past one hundred forty years.
One of a free Southland, a return to a truly legitimate Constitutional government. One where the beliefs and will of the people decide the issues, not some unaccountable, black robed tyrant legislating from the bench.  A Confederacy where Congress doesn't pass tomes of voluminous legislation each year, in an effort to pander to special interest groups or justify their salaries.  Where orders for $300 toilet seats are not placed, and if they were, they would be criminally prosecuted.  A Constitutional Confederacy where elected servants were not treated as royalty and above the law, but as common men and women who are restrained by the same laws as everyone else.

A land where the only limit to your freedom is when you infringe upon your neighbors' freedom.  If you own a piece of land, use it as you see fit.  If you choose to grow a plant, grow as little or as much as you choose.  If you choose a reckless course of action, you bear the responsibility. If you decide to have a child, have it, but remember the child is your responsibility, don't expect me to pay for it. A land free from excessive, unfair and unlawful taxation.  A place where the people ruled the government.  Government consisted of four branches, not just Executive, Legislative and Judicial but the fourth branch..the People, were the ultimate authority. These are not original ideas, they were the very basis for the establishment of the original Confederacy of united States of America.  Furthermore they were the basis for our forefathers in the 1860's, to try and salvage those principles and that freedom that the Yankees had already forsaken.
Through the registration of real and legitimate Citizens of the C.S.A., we are making history.  We are literally rebuilding the C.S.A. upon the foundation that was laid by our ancestors.  Initially, we will continue as an occupied country.  Just as Poland continued under the occupation of the Soviet Union, and didn't cease to exist, neither has Dixie.  We are resurrecting the legitimate government of Dixie, and working to throw off the chains of subjection and despotism. We will work to achieve a peaceful resolution and restoration of the Confederacy.

Our last legitimate president, Jefferson Davis once said "The Principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form." Friend, this is that time,  reassertion has now begun.

The realisation of that 140 year old dream is now within sight.
