The Supremes strike again by Joe Gresham July 2004 Those "all knowing", "paragons of wisdom", the u.S. Supreme Court Justices, just recently handed down another masterpiece of judicial work. They ruled that you and I can not sue our H.M.O. for refusing to pay for Doctor prescribed treatment. When I was in high school Civics and Government classes, we were taught that anybody could sue anybody, for any reason (of course your chances of prevailing in court were nil in the case of idiotic allegations). Nowadays, children sue parents for not buying them $200 Nike shoes, McDonalds' customers sue McDonalds for serving hot coffee, that the customer clumsily spills on themselves ( Who wants to buy coffee that isn't hot? That's a selling point, for crying out loud!) States are even suing gun manufacturers, not because of faulty products, the exact oppositefor products that function as they were designed to function. It seems idiocy is the order of the day Yet with all of this absurd litigation, the "supremes" decided to disallow lawsuits for perfectly legitimate causes. This makes absolutely no sense, until you stop and realize that HMO's are insurance companies, and that insurance companies are primarily owned/controlled by the same people who own/control big oil, big banking and the Federal Reserve. This handful of ultra-rich businessmen, call the shots, they hand down the directives to "our representatives" and they have it their way, in Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court. Did you notice the hundreds of millions of dollars that Congress gave the insurance companies after the 911 attack, to cover their liability ? To start with, I would like to know exactly from where the "supremes" are supposed to have acquired the authority to make such a determination. This exceeds their authority. They have created a privileged class that can not be sued, their masters! People, when are we going to wake up and realize that we are all serfs and slaves, footing the bill for a bunch of Globalist elites, and we are losing more daily ? 2004 All rights reserved.
